Khan

Hey Cow, how's about you take Crickey and me for a ride?

I like to imagine Khan is thinking, "I'm so sick of your $#*^, Mushu..."


Needed a sketch for this month, so continuing with my Disney horses here is Khan. For those of you who don't know, and haven't figured it out yet, Khan is Mulan's horse.

About the drawing:
-Added Mushu and Crickey after a friend asked me if I planned to include the cricket. Never drawn them before, which is why it took me so long and why they both look rather weird. Also, I have no idea how Mushu is staying on Khan. He'll probably fall the moment Khan moves. The pose looked right to me at the time, but I had a lot of things distracting me..
-It occurred to me more than half-way through that I needed to give him a cutie mark. I took images of old Chinese coins and exchanged the characters for the Chinese characters that represent loyalty and bravery/courage, as he acted in the movie. I also added the number 1998 to the coin, like most coins are dated, to represent the year Mulan was released.

P.S. I know the bottom is blurry, sorry 'bout that. I didn't have time to fix this last night when I drew it, or this morning. I'll fix it later today.
