Steampunked RD

And now, my absolute favorite drawing so far. The request came rather late, and as I use my fathers account for these he gets the messages. It's either he does not understand most words or doesn't fully read the messages but what he told me was all this guy wanted was RD with goggles so I went back to sleep a little more(the thing is the package these requests go with usually keep me up all night nowadays..). When I woke up I saw the message really was to draw a steampunk RD with maybe goggles or something. XD That request, is a whole lot different than just goggles...that's a LOT more complicated. So with not enough time I set to work and the package ended up being sent out late because I went crazy. See, I can stylize the ponies a lot more if I wanted but I never do cuz idk if that's what people want. I took his request as an opportunity to do so.

I gave dash old school pilot head gear and goggles. As well as an old pilot jacket inspired by a jacket my brother has for that same reason. The cuff-looking links on her hooves are my attempt at fingerless pilot gloves.
As for her wings, they were inspired by another steampunk RD drawing. I did change the design a bit to make it my own and more original, but the wings themselves look the same because well..this is my first steampunk drawing..

Anyway, some friend of mine say it's too much others say it's fine and I say well steam punk always looks overly complicated when I see it so it must be fine heh.

p.s. Since it was my favorite drawing, I tried to pack it so carefully and usually I do that with all my drawings but this particular one was going into an envelope and not a box so it had to be folded. I tried a different way and to my utter dissapointment the sketch was really badly messed up so I just folded it and stuck it back in...I hope the receiver will be able to salvage it with a big book or heavy flat object..
